Microsoft Window

Microsoft Window အတြက္ကို XP , Vista နဲ႔ Window ကို ယွဥ္ေရးသြားပါမယ္ ။ Win 95 , Win 98 , Win Me တို႔မလိုအပ္ေတာ႔ပါ။ သံုးခ်င္သူမ်ား ရွိပါက ဆက္သြယ္ပါ ။ :P

Window XP

ကၽႊန္ေတာ္ ကြန္ျပဴတာ စကိုင္ဘူးတာ လြန္ခဲ႔တဲ႔ ၇ ႏွစ္ေလာက္ က ကၽႊန္ေတာ္ ၈ တန္းစာေမးပြဲ ျပီးေလာက္ကေပါ႔။ ကၽႊန္ေတာ္ က ေဘာလံုး crazy ဗ် ။ ေဘာလံုးပဲ ကန္တာ.. က်န္တာဘာမွလုပ္တာ မဟုတ္ဘူး။ အဲ ႏွစ္ကလဲ သု၀ဏ ကြင္းမွာ ကၽႊန္ေတာ္ ေဘာလံုး သင္တန္းတက္မယ္ လုပ္တာ။ အေမက ပထမေတာ႔ အိုေကပဲ ေနာက္မွ အဲေခာတ္က ၾကားဖူးနား၀ ရွိတဲ႔ computer သင္တန္းသြားတက္ တဲ႔။ ကဲ အဲဒါနဲ႔ Window XP ကိုစကိုင္ဖူးျပီး office course ကို KMD မွာ တက္ခဲ႔တယ္။ တက္တဲ႔ အခါ မွာ ကၽႊန္ေတာ္ က office course ေလ႔လာေနတယ္ မထင္ပါနဲ႔ ကၽႊန္ေတာ္ ဆရာမ လစ္ရင္ စက္ကို ကလိတာက အက်င္႔။ မွတ္မိတယ္ ၀ါယာၾကိဳးေလး ၂ ေခ်ာင္း စက္အျပင္ထြက္ ေနတာ ေဘးကစက္က အလစ္မွာ ၀ါယာၾကိဳး ပူးေပးလိုက္တာ ဖုန္း ဆိုျပီး ဂန္႔သြားေရာ xD ( စက္က ဘာမွကိုတက္မလာေတာ႔ဘူး )။ ေျပာတာရွည္ ကုန္ျပီ။ အဲဒီကေန window XP စသံုးဘူးတယ္ေပါ႔ဗ်ာ ။ window xp ကို သံုး သပ္ၾကည္႔ရင္ UI ေကာင္းတယ္ဗ်။ ဟုတ္တယ္ window xp မွမဟုတ္ဘူး microsoft product ေတြ အကုန္လံုး လိုလို UI ေကာင္းၾကတယ္ အဲဒါ အားသာခ်က္ပဲ။ နားမလည္တဲ႔ သူ တစ္ေယာက္ေတာင္ Start button ဆိုရင္ ဒီက စရမယ္ဆိုတာ သိသလိုေပါ႔။ သံုးသပ္ရရင္ေတာ႔ window xp အေနနဲ႔ ေအာင္ျမင္မႈ ေတြေတာ္ေတာ္ ရခဲ႔ပါတယ္ဗ်ာ ။ SP1 မွာ နဲနဲ တိုင္ပတ္ခဲ႔ေပမယ္႔ SP2 မွာ stable ျဖစ္သြားပါတယ္ ( SP3 ကိုေတာ႔ သိပ္မၾကိဳက္ပါ ) အသံုးျပဳတဲ႔ user ေတြေတာ္ေတာ္ မ်ားမ်ား အၾကိဳက္ေတြ႔ၾကသလို အခုထိ XP ပဲသံုးေနတဲ႔ သူေတြလဲရွိဆဲပါ။ Microsoft ကေတာ႔ XP ကိုလက္ရွိမွာ ထုတ္တာ ရပ္ဆိုင္းလိုက္ျပီး။ ေနာက္ လူငယ္ ေျခတက္ Vista နဲ႔ Window 7 ကိုပြဲထုတ္တယ္ေပါ႔ ။ အဆံုးသတ္ရရင္ ေတာ႔ XP မွာ တစ္ခ်ိဳ႔ security ပိုင္းဆိုင္ရာ အားနည္းမႈေတြရွိေပမယ္႔ သာမာန္ စသံုးခဲ႔တဲ႔သူေတြကို သင္ေပးခဲ႔တာပါပဲ။ Hardware Requirement လဲနည္းတယ္ ။ Microsoft ရဲ႔ ေအာင္ျမင္ခဲ႔တဲ႔ OS တစ္ခုပါပဲ။

Window Vista

Vista ကေတာ႔ ေတာ္ေတာ္ မ်ားမ်ား က ေျပာၾကတယ္ မေကာင္းဘူးတဲ႔။ ေသခ်ာ မသံုးတတ္တာရယ္ ေသေသခ်ာခ်ာ လဲ မသံုး လိုက္လို႔ အဲလိုေျပာၾကတာလို႔ ယူဆပါတယ္ ။November 2006 မွာ Vista Business နဲ႔ Enterprise Edition ကို Xp professional အစား စထုတ္ခဲ႔ပါတယ္။ January 2007 မွာ ေတာ႔ Xp Home အစား Vista Home Basic နဲ႔ Premium ကို စတင္ျဖန္႔ခ်ီခဲ႔ပါတယ္။ စထြက္ထြက္ ခ်င္း Hardware Requirement လဲမ်ားတယ္ ။ ျပီးေတာ႔ User ေတြအေနနဲ႔ friendly မျဖစ္တာေတြ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အခ်ိဳ႔ Software ေတြ အေနနဲ႔ vista support မရွိေသးတာရယ္ UAC ၾကီးကို မပိတ္ထားလို႔ တစ္ခုခု လုပ္မယ္ ဆိုရင္ ေမးခြန္းေတြအမ်ားၾကီး ေမးတာေတြရယ္က user ေတြကို အာရံုေနာက္သြားတယ္နဲ႔တူပါတယ္ xD ။ ဘယ္လိုပဲေျပာေျပာ Vista ဟာ Xp ထက္သာလို႔ microsoft က ထုတ္လိုက္တာပါ။ ကၽႊန္ေတာ႔ အျမင္ဆိုရင္ hardware requirement ေလးမ်ားသြားတာက လြဲလို႔ အားလံုးေကာင္းတယ္။ Vista ကို သံုးရရင္ ညက္ျပီး ကို သြားသလိုလိုက္ျပီး သြားေနတယ္လို႔ခံစားရတယ္ ( ေဘာ္ဒါ တစ္ေယာက္ေျပာသလိုဆို ဒန္းစီး ေနရသလိုပဲ :P )။ Vista ရဲ႔ Aero Theme , Desktop Switcher mode ေတြကေတာ႔ လန္ထြက္ေနျပီး feature အသစ္ ေတြကို စတင္ မိတ္ဆက္ခဲ႔ပါတယ္ ( Ubuntu ကိုမမွီပါ ) ။ ျပီးေတာ႔ repair mode :D ။ Restore Mode ကိုသြားလို႔ရသြားတယ္ ။ ျပီးေတာ႔ Start Up repair ။ စတာစတာ ေတြက ကၽႊန္ေတာ႔ အတြက္ေတာ႔ေတာ္ေတာ္ အဆင္ေျပပါတယ္ ။ ERD commander ေတြဘာေတြ XP မွာလိုေပမယ္႔ ခု Vista ေခြ နဲ႔ တင္လံုေလာက္ပါျပီ xD ။ ေနာက္တစ္ခု window update ျပသနာ Microsoft ကလဲ window lincense ေရာင္းတာ က window update ေလးနဲ႔ ဆြယ္ျပီးေရာင္းရတယ္ ။ Original Window သံုးပါေပါ႔ original မွ spyware , Virus , Trojen စတာေတြမ၀င္ႏိုင္ဘူး security patch ေတြလဲရမယ္ ဆိုေတာ႔ ၀ယ္တဲ႔ သူတိုင္းက update လုပ္ပါတယ္ ။ ဒီေတာ႔ update လုပ္တာ corrupt ျဖစ္သြားတာတို႔ complete မျဖစ္တာတို႔ ဆိုရင္ အခန္႔မသင္႔ရင္ Window တက္ျပီး window ထဲမ၀င္ dimm ျဖစ္ေနတတ္တယ္။ ဒီေတာ႔ အဲလိုျဖစ္ရင္ လာျပင္လို႔ရပါတယ္ ( ေၾကာ္ျငာ ) :D။ update လုပ္ျပီး ေႏွးသြား တတ္တယ္ ။ ခဏခဏ ၾကံဳဘူး ပါတယ္။ Xp အတြက္ ၾကီးပဲရွိတဲ႔ software ေတြေတာ႔ နဲနဲ တိုင္ပတ္ေပမယ္႔ DEP ေလးဖြင္႔ျပီး သံုးရင္ အဆင္ေျပတတ္တဲ႔အတြက္ အဆင္ေျပပါသည္။ Crack ေတြ လဲမတရား ေပၚ ခဲ႔တဲ႔အတြက္ ေကာင္းပါ တယ္။ :P အဆံုးသတ္ကေတာ႔ ေကာင္းပါသည္ ။ ကၽႊန္ေတာ္ ၾကိဳက္ပါတယ္။ အားလံုး အေနနဲ႔ ကေတာ႔ 50 / 50 ပဲရွိေနမွာပါ။ Xp နဲ႔ Vista တစ္ခ်ိဳ႔ကြာျခားခ်က္ေလးေတြကို နႈိင္းယွဥ္ ျပထားပါတယ္။

Window 7

Window 7 ကေတာ႔ လက္ရွိေနာက္ဆံုးေပါ႔ဗ်ာ ။ ျဖန္႔ခ်ီလိုက္တာ မၾကာေသးခဲ႔ေပမယ္႔ ကၽႊန္ေတာ္ သံုးတာ ၁ ႏွစ္ေလာက္ရွိပါျပီ ။ Build 6801 မတိုင္ခင္ကတည္းက စသံုးခဲ႔တာပါ။ အၾကိဳက္ဆံုးပါပဲ ။ Window 7 ရဲ႔ requirement က Vista နဲ႔တူေပမယ္႔ Vista ထက္ေပါ႔တာေတာ႔ အမွန္ပဲ ။ Device ေတြအတြက္ plug & play လိုျဖစ္လာပါတယ္ ။ေတာ္ေတာ္မ်ားမ်ား driver မလိုသလိုျဖစ္လာတယ္။ window 7 UAC ဟာ vista UAC ထက္ improved ျဖစ္လာပါတယ္။ Task Bar အသစ္ေလးနဲလန္းသလို super fast performance ပါပဲ။ Xp ထက္ နဲနဲ ေလာက္သာေလးသြားျပီး Vista ထက္အမ်ားၾကီးေပါ႔သြားတယ္။ Shutdown , Restart , Logout အခ်ိန္ေတြဟာ သိသိသာသာ ျမန္သြားပါတယ္။ New Features ေတြျဖစ္တဲ႔ Aero Shake, Peek နဲ႔ snap တို႔ အျပင္ jump list စတာေတြဟာ ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလးကို ေကာင္းမြန္တယ္။ Window Xp mode အစရွိတာေတြလဲ new feature အျဖစ္ပါ၀င္လာပါတယ္။ Window Xp mode အေနနဲ႔ဆိုရင္ xp မွာသံုးလို႔ရတဲ႔ software ေတြကို window 7 မွာပါ သံုးလို႔ completely perfect ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ သက္သက္ download လုပ္ျပီးသြင္းရပါတယ္။ သံုးၾကည္႔ပါ user ေတြအေနနဲ႔ကေတာ႔ ၾကိဳက္တာ 80% ေလာက္ရွိပါလိမ္႔မယ္ ။ Xp သံုးေနတုန္း ျဖစ္ၾကတဲ႔ User ေတြအတြက္ ပါ အဆင္ေျပသြားျပီမို႔ Window 7 ဟာ စထြက္ကတည္းက တာထြက္ေကာင္းသြားပါတယ္။ ကၽႊန္ေတာ္အေနနဲ႔ကေတာ႔ အၾကိဳက္ဆံုးပါပဲဗ်ာ ။

System File Checker ( SFC )

Wht is SFC ?
Long Term iz System File Checker.
Tat mean u can use diz command at get back ur os to normal status while infecting virus or system is not stable. xD

U must have os cd for doing this processes.

Just type sfc at cmd. Six option will avaliable for u 2 do dat.

Some Tips for Beginner

" \ " ကိုရိုက္ရင္ Window Directory ထဲကိုေရာက္ပါတယ္။

" . " ကေတာ႔ Current User ရဲ႔ Document ထဲကိုေရာက္တယ္။

Shift + Del အတူတူ ႏွိပ္ေပးျခင္းျဖင္႔ delete လုပ္တဲ႔ ဖိုင္ေတြဟာ Recycle Bin ထဲကိုမေရာက္ပဲ အျပီးဖ်က္သြားပါလိမ္႔မယ္။

Software မသံုးပဲ folder ဖြက္မယ္ဆိုရင္

ဖြက္ခ်င္တဲ႔ Folder ကို ေရြး Right Click ႏွိပ္ rename ေရြး ALT ကိုဖိထား ျပီး 0160 ဒါမွ မဟုတ္ 255
( 0255 for Xp ) ကိုရိုက္ လိုက္ရင္ နာမည္ ေပၚလာမွာမဟုတ္ဘူး ။ Enter ႏွိပ္ ။ Folder ကို Right Click ႏွိပ္ ျပီး Properties ကိုသြားပါ။ Customize က change icon ကိုေရြး ။ icon ေတြထဲက ဘာပံုမွမရွိတဲ႔ ပံုေလးကိုေရြး ေပးပါ။

Command the burn of Deep Freeze

A few months ago I was working for on a clients network who had a third party come in and setup their network. Unfortunately, many of the PCs were setup with deep freeze. Now for those of you that don't know, deep freeze is this amazing program that allows administrators to lock the hard drive so that users can install software,
download files, etc and then as soon as you reboot the system is back to defaults.


When you want to change the settings you have to use a keyboard shortcut, Ctl+Alt+Shift+F6 in order to get to a login screen. Then once you type the password, you can "Thaw" the system. Each Thaw/ Freezed session is determined on how the system was told to boot. The screen gives options to Thaw it once and then once you have rebooted, re-Thaw system on reboot -- without logging back into the Deep freeze control panel.

You can figure out if a system is running deep freeze by looking for the following icon in the systray:

However, this didn't work so well for me as I was wanting to install the newest version of office and setup the desktop icons with some new shortcuts, because, you guessed it, they had forgotten the password... So I was left with no way to get the computer changed or was I?

It turns out that Windows 2000, XP (and Vista too I am pretty sure,) have this save mode setting called safemode Command Prompt. Which loads the system with only the minimal components and a command prompt, and this is what allowed me to get access to the system and make changes with out Deep Freeze stopping me.


The how to:

1. First reboot the computer
2. Press F8 at boot
3. Select "Safe Mode" with Command Prompt
4. Wait for the Desktop to load. It will load windows just as in normal, but it will have a cmd window open... some systems may be locked, so you might need to try default usernames such as username=Adminstartor, password="", or whatever admin user you can get access to.
   
5. At the black window that shows C:\ type,"explorer"
6. This will start windows explorer which will allow you to do most system changes that are needed.

The only limitation of this hack is the fact that many programs will not install, however you can change (or delete Deep Freeze) permanently from the following folders and when you return to normal mode you will have complete control:

c:\program files\hypert~1\deepfr~1
c:\windows\system\iosubsys\persifrz.vxd
(you can easily delete both of these from the command line or explorer)

Assign Keyboard Shortcuts to your Favorite Websites

We all have our own list of favorite websites that we like to visit several times a day. Now the point is how do you quickly access these frequently visited pages without having to type the URLs in the address bar?

One of the best options in Firefox is keyword bookmarking - you basically save the website to your Firefox bookmarks and then assign a (memorable) keyword to that bookmark.

For instance, I have assigned the keyword "w" to the Wikipedia homepage bookmark as in screenshot above. The next time I want to visit the Wikipedia site, I simply go the Firefox address bar, type w and hit Enter.

That’s the default method of doing things but if you are too bad at memorizing shortcuts and need something more simple (and beautiful), check out Site Launcher.

You hit a shortcut key and there you have a list of all your favorite pages presented in a clean overlay window - press another key and the associated website will open in a new Firefox tab. The keyboard shortcuts works even while you are browsing the web in full-screen mode.

This visual appearance of Site Launcher overlay window is actually very similar to the help window of Gmail or Google Reader (see screenshot below) that’s invoked when your hit the Shift + ? keyboard shortcut and disappears on pressing the Escape key.

You can add as many number of sites to the Site Launcher menu as you want and it will auto-download the corresponding favicon so you can recognize sites more quickly.

And while you can manually add any web page to Site Launcher using the menu, the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + S will quickly add the current web page to the Site Launcher menu in one click.
